After a three-month absence due to an ankle surgery, South Korean international soccer player Park Ji-Sung is ready to play again. Although he was not considered for Manchester United’s game against Manchester City, he will certainly play some minutes next match.
“Park is a great player to get back,” coach Sir Alex Ferguson said. “His versatility and movement off the ball is something we shall use over the Christmas period. He also gives us the option of resting our wider players in various games because he can play on both sides of the pitch.”
There is more good news for the team’s fans. Giuseppe Rossi’s loan period at Newcastle is about to finish and Henrik Larsson is due to join his new teammates this week. This gives Ferguson some attacking options. “For six weeks or so, we have operated with my heart in my mouth, hoping nothing serious would befall Louis or Wayne,” Ferguson said, relieved. “It was a situation that worried me - as I know it did our supporters.”
